Goldair Handling Welcomes Athina Kapeni as Business Development Advisor

Goldair Handling, which offers ground handling services, recently welcomed senior aviation expert Athina Kapeni as Business Development Advisor to its Board of Directors. Goldair Handling is a member of Goldair Group, one of the largest group of companies in the fields of tourism and transportation in Greece.

“With a long experience in aviation companies and ground handling services Athina has successfully carried out projects in Europe and Asia, and will actively contribute to Goldair Handling’s development abroad,” the company said in an announcement.

Priory to joining Goldair Handling, Athina has worked for major international companies, including Olympic Airways (leading ground handling); Athens International Airport – AIA (establishment of competition in Greece and leading concessions); Hermes Airports in Larnaca (LCA) and Pafos (PFO) in Cyprus (airport privatization and opening); and Celebi Aviation Holding (VP of Global Sales & Marketing and member of Executive Board).

The Goldair Group is also active in the fields of airlines’ representation and airport services (Goldair SA); tourism and congress (Goldair Tourism); freight forwarding and logistics (Goldair Cargo); aviation security (Brinks); and renewable energy sources (Goldeco).
