Air Travel Saudi Arabian Airlines Appoints Intermodal Air as GSA in Greece by GTP editing team 17 May 2019 written by GTP editing team 17 May 2019 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 29 Photo Source: @Saudia Airlines Saudia to launch direct flights between Athens and Riyadh Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has appointed Intermodal Air as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Greece. According to an announcement by Intermodal Air, as of June 5 Saudia will fly direct from Athens to Riyadh on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft and depart Athens at 9.35am to arrive in Riyadh at 1.35pm. The return flight will leave Riyadh at 3.15pm to arrive in Athens at 7.10pm. A leading airline operating in the Middle East, Saudia currently flies to 95 destinations around the world. The carrier is a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance, offering its passengers with access to a wide network of destinations. Saudia carries over 34 million passengers annually with a fleet of 149 aircraft which includes the wide-body B787-9, B777-268L, B777-300ER, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321 and Airbus A330-300. Established in 1986, Intermodal Air is based in Athens and holds the General Sales representation in Greece for Air Serbia, Croatia Airlines, Srilankan Airlines and Volotea among other airlines.
