Greece’s third largest city, Patra is a city of juxtaposition, with the old city on the hills. At sunset, the city transforms into a vibrant hub of trendy cafés and bars. Characterized by attractive squares and lively pedestrian streets, it draws in travelers from all over the world. “Patra is known for its high energy and welcoming population, so it is the perfect location for Moxy to open its first doors in Greece and we have no doubt that Moxy guests (or ‘Fun-Hunters’, as we call them!) will love discovering this spirited city,” said John Licence, Vice President Premium and Select Brands Europe at Marriott International. Patra is also home to the biggest carnival in Greece and Moxy aims to bring that party atmosphere into the hotel, through its stylish interior and atmosphere that brings people together. With its trademark boutique vibe, the hotel flaunts a ‘play on’ spirit that Moxy customers have come to know and love. “Moxy hotels are all about a playful, inclusive ambiance and a stylish setting at an affordable price point, and the new Moxy Patra Marina fully embodies this ethos,” Licence added. Moreover, Moxy Hotels are designed to reimagine the hotel scene, offering guests unexpected extras and upgrades, including vinyl record parties and pillow forts. The Moxy Patra Marina includes a rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking the harbor, 5x15m outdoor swimming pool, extensive cocktail selection and high-speed Wi-Fi. Staying #ATTHEMOXY The Moxy experience kicks off with a bright, airy and buzzing lobby. Guests are instantly welcomed into a playful stay with check-in at the bar, the heart of the hotel, and a complimentary cocktail. The hotel’s Living Room changes its vibe throughout the day to give guests fun ways to work. A high-energy yet cosy space for gatherings, special events or cocktails, the Living Room plays host to eclectic upbeat music that sets just the right mood. The hotel’s 116 cosy and smart bedrooms feature 49″ LCD flat-screen televisions, high quality sound systems, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable high-thread count bedding. Every bedroom makes a statement with a fun floor to ceiling art piece. Moxy’s 24/7 B&F (Beverage & Food), smart and fun self-service concept gives guests access to what they want, whenever they want in a smart and fun way. Options include fresh juice, coffee, paninis, allday flatbreads and salads. Moxy guests who are members of the award-winning Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme will get exclusive access to additional digital features through the Marriott Mobile app when they book direct.
