The certificate honors enterprises that have been awarded with TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years. The winners may include hotels, restaurants and sites of attraction in all over the world. “This award… is a source of inspiration and pride for the family of Sofitel Athens Airport. A great thank you to all our guests who dedicated time to evaluate our services on TripAdvisor, ” said George Stavrou, General Manager of Sofitel Athens Airport. The winners of the Certificate of Excellence are determined based on an algorithm, which takes into consideration the quality and number of reviews submitted by travelers to TripAdvisor during a period of 12 months. To qualify for the certificate, an enterprise must maintain a minimum score of four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and be on TripAdvisor’s list for at least 12 months. The five-star hotel is located near the Athens International Airport. It is part of the Sofitel Group, which is present in five continents and 40 countries with 120 hotels.
