Seajets’ Tera Jet Vessel Connects Piraeus with Paros-Ios-Santorini

Seajets, one of Greece’s leading ferry operators, has welcomed the summer season with a new itinerary from Piraeus to the Cycladic islands of Paros, Ios and Santorini, to be operated by its highspeed Tera Jet vessel.

“More passengers now have the opportunity to discover and enjoy a unique five-star traveling experience daily, and reach their Cycladic destinations quickly, comfortably,” Seajets said in an announcement.

The new route, that began May 31, lasts only 2 hours and 50 minutes. Its ticket price is 39.90 euros.

“Undoubtedly, besides standing out as the largest high-speed vessel in the world with its two airplane turbines, the Tera Jet also uniquely combines comfort and luxury,” the company said.

The Tera Jet vessel uses advanced technology to stabilize the vessel amid strong winds. Furthermore, it features wide seats – 600 of which are fully reclining – and enough space to ensure that passengers travel in comfort.

The ship’s luxury interior is completed by extra living rooms and bars of 400 seats, as well as automatic escalators.

Seajets currently offers 250 island connections from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Crete. The company aims to offer prime transportation services to its passengers, and contribute to the extension of the tourism season in Greece.

In May, the company added the high speed WorldChampion Jet passenger ship to its fleet and opened new daily routes from Piraeus to the islands of Syros, Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini. The 88-meter long passenger ship, which an ccarry 1,300 passengers, has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records for its high speed.
