The Impact Bite Awards recognize good practices and innovative projects in the fields of IT and telecommunications. Grecotel and its partner Hewlett Packard Enterprise were honored for successfully upgrading the group’s hospitality services, with state-of-the-art software and networking technologies. Through the new technologies, Grecotel now offers guests an enhanced hospitality experience through its Guest Portal, as well as wired and wireless networking equipment in its hotels. The Impact Bite award was received by Grecotel CIO Ilias Kyriakakis during a ceremony which was recently held in Athens and in the presence of 580 representatives of Greek enterprises. “We are delighted that our investments have created new hospitality experiences that are recognized by leading organizations. The gold award recognizes our efforts to offer top-notch integrated hospitality services. We promise to remain pioneers and continue to evolve the experiences we offer to our guests,” he said. During the last three years, Grecotel has completed the renovation of its hotel units throughout Greece. According to an announcement, the group plans to continue to invest in innovative ventures, putting emphasis on new technologies, digital communication, and its staff’s education. The Impact Bite Awards 2019 was organized for the eighth year by Boussias Communications under the auspices of SEPE -the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communication Enterprises.
