The event will be held in collaboration with the Condé Nast Traveller magazine. The ‘Traveller’s Tales’ events feature renowned personalities in the UK, who present personal experiences, explorations, adventures and unique destinations to a selected group of travelers that have a high socioeconomic status and every year travel abroad six times on average. Greece’s tourism offerings will be presented by BBC journalist and influencer, Katie Derham, who also hosts the popular TV shows, namely “Strictly come dancing” and “Saturday Live”. A frequent traveler to the Ionian islands, Derham will present Greece as a unique destination for luxury, marine and sailing holidays. The event will also be promoted by the Condé Nast Traveller’s magazine, website and social media throughout the year. It should be mentioned that in September 2018, Greece won three honors at the CNT Readers’ Travel Awards 2018, based on the votes of the magazine’s readers. The country topped the Best Islands in the World category. Furthermore, the Greek islands came in first place on the CNT’s World’s Top Six list. CNT’s readers also voted for Greece as the second “Best Country in the World”, after Italy that came in first.
