IIEK Paster is a private Institute of Vocational Training (known as IIEK in Greece) based in Thessaloniki. With this new partnership Paster aims to improve and promote its educational programs in gastronomy and tourism, which are available to students that wish to pursue careers of head chefs, bakery and pastry chefs, as well as positions in the field of hospitality and tourism management. According to the agreement, IIEK Paster students will receive training in actual working conditions from the first semester of their studies. The cooperation between Porto Palace Thessaloniki and IIEK Paster includes jointly held seminars in gastronomy and tourism for students and graduates. In addition, the hotel will also support IIEK Paster graduates during their internship period. The Porto Palace Hotel Thessaloniki is housed in a historical building of 1913, which includes 176 rooms and features five fully equipped meeting rooms, five large conference halls and a roof garden with views of the Thermaikos Gulf.
