Santo Maris Oia Named Europe’s Leading Boutique Resort at WTA 2019

Manos Borboudakis, General Manager of the Santo Maris Luxury Suites & Spa and Andreas Metaxas, President and CEO of the Metaxa Hospitality Group, received the awards.

The Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa, located on Santorini, was named Europe’s Leading Boutique Resort and Greece’s Leading Island Villas at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala 2019 event held recently in Madeira, Portugal.

Established in 1993, the WTA is among the highest distinctions of the global tourism industry.

The WTA’s Europe Gala 2019 event gathered the elite of tourism and hospitality professionals from around the world and awarded the sector’s best enterprises for 2019.

Santo Maris Oia was honored with the title of Europe’s Leading Boutique Resort and also named Greece’s Leading Island Villas for the second consecutive year.
