Since its establishment by Aristotelis Divanis in 1958, Divani remains one of the leading hotel groups in Greece. “This award confirms Divani’s leading position in the hospitality industry with its innovative creative business and investment initiatives also influencing the wider hospitality sector in Greece,” the group’s management said in an announcement. Divani Caravel Named ‘Greece’s Leading City Hotel’ Meanwhile, the group’s recently renovated Divani Caravel hotel, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, has been voted “Greece’s Leading Hotel” for 2019. Following an extensive renovation, the hotel which is located in Athens, now includes new areas and offers new suggestions, proving its dedication to authentic top-notch hospitality. Juju Bar & Restaurant “Divani Caravel’s dynamic new design has transformed all its areas: From the reception and conference halls to its rooms and suites, meeting and dining points,” the announcement said. The Divani Caravel now includes the new JuJu Bar & Restaurant featuring a cinematic atmosphere and tasty challenges; a roof garden pool offering stunning views to the Acropolis and the Lycabettus hill; a spa; state-of-the-art conference halls. and a total of three restaurants offering Greek and international cuisine. Also referred to as the “Oscars” of the tourism industry, the World Travel Awards were established in 1993 with the aim to honor enterprises that excel in the field of tourism.
