Michael Flerianos, President Hellenic Association of Airline Representatives Michael Flerianos, general manager of Gold Star Aviation, has been appointed president for a two-year mandate replacing Dinos Frantzeskakis, General Manager of Discover the World. “The current challenges in the aviation industry require the ongoing development and upgrade of the services offered by GSAs [General Sales Agents] to airline companies. This would guarantee the further increase of turnover for our members, through new partnerships with airlines that trust us to promote and distribute their products,” Michael Flerianos said. SAAE’s new Board of Directors is as follows: President Michael Flerianos (Gold Star Aviation) Vice President Maria Theofanopoulou (Danae Airlines) Secretary General Marianthi Kaparaki (Top Kinisis) Treasurer Zoi Skreki (Intermodal Air) Member Dinos Frantzeskakis (Discover the World) SAAE was founded in 1989 and its members consist of Greek companies that represent foreign airlines in Greece. Currently, over 63 percent of foreign airlines represented in Greece operate under Greek General Sales Agents (GSAs).
