IATA represents some 290 carriers or 82 percent of total air traffic. According to an announcement, the Academy’s programs target the global market and therefore, this partnership is expected to contribute to the promotion of Greece as an international high-level educational center. “It is a great honor for TÜV Austria Academy to be an IATA partner. We strongly believe that through this partnership we will take one more step towards making our vision a reality and become a top educational organization for lifelong learning and education,” said the Academy’s director, Stelios Margetis. TÜV Austria Academy, will carry out two training programs until the end of 2019: The IFRS 16, Accounting for Leases in the Aviation Industry, a two-day program to be carried out on November 12-13, The Digital Airline and Change Strategy, a three-day program to be held during November 19-21. TÜV Austria Hellas is an independent organization providing integrated auditing, training, inspection and certification services for safety, quality, environment and resource management. Its portfolio of services focuses on serving customers’ needs for the quality and competitiveness of their products, services and resources. The company’s clientele includes companies from all sectors of the economy such as agro-food, tourism, industrial, lift and lifting, energy, construction, etc. Furthermore, it focuses on the educational part through its educational center, TÜV Austria Academy, which is recognized as a Level II Center for Lifelong Learning.
