According to an announcement, Carpe Diem Santorini is donating 1 percent of its online, direct booking revenues to support the organization’s polyclinics across Greece. “In a period of social inequality, it is our duty to intensify our efforts and provide funding for causes that really matter,” said Sotiris Kopatsaris, owner and managing director of Carpe Diem Santorini. “At the heart of hospitality lies the concept of respect towards our valued guests, the natural environment and the local community. Keeping these three stakeholders happy ensures long-term sustainability,” he added. The hotel has been sponsoring the organization’s Microscope Ball fund-raising event. Carpe Diem is located in the medieval village of Pyrgos on Santorini, featuring 270-degree views of the island.
