The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) will be present at the two-day event with its own stand, along with the Regions of Attica, Crete, South Aegean and Western Greece, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Greek Wine Federation.

During the National Geographic Traveller Food Festival, selected chefs and wine experts will present Greek recipes and wines.

Furthermore, Greece’s representatives will have the opportunity to present their destinations to more than 4,000 British visitors.

GNTO’s participation is part of the organization’s marketing strategy for 2019-20, which aims to promote Greece’s gastronomy tourism.

“We aim to promote Greece to UK tourism professionals and individuals, as the ideal gastronomy tourism destination 365 days a year,” the organization said.

The National Geographic Traveller Food Festival will host major UK tour operators, tourism enterprises and national tourism organizations from Hungary, Italy, Tunisia, Thailand and other countries.

Furthermore, the event will include workshops with the participation of award-winning chefs from all over the world, cooking sessions, interviews and panel discussions.
