According to an announcement, the luxury hotel is the first in Greece to offer a 5G connection, in collaboration with telecommunications provider WIND, which recently launched the first pilot 5G network in the area. “We are delighted that our Filoxenia hotel has been chosen for the pilot operation of WIND’s 5G network,” said Ilias Kyriakakis, Member of the Board of Directors and Grecotel Group CIO. “In the new digital era, hospitality enterprises must change the operation of their reception and hospitality services and adapt to the new technology standards. This is Grecotel’s practice and belief,” he added. The luxury Filoxenia hotel is located in an area of 40 stremmas (9,8 acres) on the Messinian Gulf. Its rooms offer luxury amenities and stunning views. Visitors can spend relaxing moments in the jacuzzi or in the Olive Spa. The Filoxenia hotel is the ideal starting point for walks to Kalamata and excursions to Mani and the wider area of Messinia.
