Event News Greek Panorama Expo to Host ‘Paths of Greece’ and ‘Hikers Friendly Hotels’ by GTP editing team 24 July 2019 written by GTP editing team 24 July 2019 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 8 Aiming to promote alternative forms of tourism related to nature, the 1st Greek Panorama Alternative Tourism & Gastronomy exhibition, scheduled to take place in November in Athens, will host the Paths of Greece and the Hikers Friendly Hotels. The Paths of Greece is a social co-operative enterprise aiming to develop and promote hiking destinations in Greece and abroad. It is a member of the World Trails Network and has thus far designed hiking trails on Sifnos, Tinos, Kythira and Ithaki among other destinations. Paths of Greece has also created the Hikers Friendly Hotels certification, which recognizes hotels that offer services and facilities adapted to the hikers. The two organizations will participate in the 1st Greek Panorama exhibition with their own stand and hold presentations and workshops. Furthermore, their representatives will be among the keynote speakers of the forum of professionals and hosted buyers, which will take place at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel, on November 14. Photo source: Paths of Greece The 1st Greek Panorama event will take place at the Zapio Mansion in the center of the Greek capital on November 15-16. Organized by North Events, the exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the Greek ministries of tourism and rural development, with the support of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Tourist & Travel Agencies (FedHATTA) and the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation (POX) among other organizations. Argo Travel Group and Alpha Marketing are the strategic partners of the 1st Greek Panorama exhibition.
