Grace Hotel Santorini, Auberge Resorts Collection has been recognized as the second best resort in Europe and 41st in the world – among 100 hotels – in Travel + Leisure’s (T+L) 2019 World’s Best Awards survey.

The awards are given to winners following an extensive reader survey conducted by T+L every year to recognize the best hotels. It is also among the most respected reader polls in the travel industry.

“It is an incredible honor to be named one of the best resorts in Europe and in the world,” said George Vlachopoulos, general manager of Grace Hotel Santorini.

Santorini is known for its stunning beauty, and guests are naturally drawn to Grace Hotel, in part, for its picturesque setting on the island. But the reason they return year after year is because of our outstanding team, whose highly personalized service makes every stay unforgettable,” he added.

Guests can witness the sun dipping into the Aegean Sea and the dramatic hues of Santorini’s legendary sunsets, paired with breathtaking views of the Caldera from the 363 Champagne lounge, while tickling their taste buds with pours of the finest champagnes, cocktails and premium spirits.

Furthermore, at the award-winning Santoro restaurant, guests can indulge in a meticulously crafted Mediterranean gastronomic journey under the star-littered sky in one of the best vantage points of the island.

Travel + Leisure’s  World’s Best Awards have been celebrating the best hotels, cruise lines, airlines and destinations during the last 24 years.

“Brands and properties from all over the world—from Greece to Bali, India to Italy, and the United States—are recognized by our audience because they deliver on exceptional experiences, rooted in a sense of place,” Travel + Leisure Editor in Chief Jacqueline Gifford said.
