Held for the third consecutive year in the Greek capital, the festival will host 30 flamenco dancers from Greece, 12 musicians, two bands of traditional and electro jazz music, as well as popular Spanish artists. Among the participant musicians are Juan Antonio Suarez «Canito», Lucas Arango, Rosa de Algeciras, Martha Mavroidi, Drums Voice Duet /Ageliki Toubanaki and Giorgos Ntinakos. Furthermore, the festival will host dancers and dance studios Fani Demestiha, Taconeo, Rueda, Dimitra Kaskani, La Arrachi Cali and many others. “The Hola Flamenco Festival is a celebration full of surprises, aiming to bring the atmosphere of a ‘noche blanca’ (white night) to Athens, which is similar to the nights of the Cordova flamenco festivals held in Andalucia,” an announcement said. The festival will also include a market with flamenco clothing, shoes and accessories, and gastronomy surprises. The event will take place on September 10, at the Dora Stratou theater in the heart of Athens.
