The Aphrodite Beach Resort on Mykonos this season is promoting Greek cultural tourism through its new art venue, created in collaboration with the RESTART Contemporary Art Platform.

Under the name, Venus Gallery, the venue is currently hosting a group exhibition of 31 Greek artists with works inspired by the lyrics of renowned Greek lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou.

“Her lyrics have influenced a significant part of Greece’s musical repertoire. Nikolakopoulou has mentally stimulated many generations, for over 40 years,” the hotel’s management said.

This is the third exhibition held this season in the Venus Gallery, which has so far attracted the interest of many international travelers, the announcement said.

During the inauguration ceremony, visitors had the chance to see the gallery’s artwork and also tour the outdoor exhibition of large-scale sculptures, hosted in the facilities of the Blue Fusion Art Restaurant.

The restaurant opened its doors in 2017, aiming to combine unique gastronomy experiences and art.

It features a fusion menu of Japanese and Mediterranean flavors, curated by chef Miltos Karoubas and executive chef Yiannis Panagiotakopoulos.

A four-star accommodation facility, the Aphrodite Beach Resort Hotel is built amphitheatrically on the Kalafatis beach, on the island of Mykonos.

The resort features luxury facilities including a spacious swimming pool, a beach bar, a tennis court, a gym and three Mykonian chapels.

The Venus Gallery operates under the management of RESTART.
