Since its foundation it has greatly helped the Greek society make the right decisions and the success of Greek tourism is certainly largely due to SETE,” Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Thursday after attending a meeting with the confederation’s Board of Directors. During the meeting, issues related to Greece’s investment law and the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) were discussed. “We have launched a channel of dialogue to become practical and resolve some of the pending issues as fast as we can,” Minister Georgiades said. SETE, founded in 1991, is the representative association for unions of tourism enterprises in Greece, as well as independent companies operating across the broader tourism sector. On his part, SETE President Yiannis Retsos noted that there are many issues involving tourism that need immediate attention. Retsos said that the dialogue with the minister will continue “hoping to find solutions to problems and issues that affect our future development and reinforcement”.
