Seajets stepped in and began serving the Samothrace-Alexandroupolis route after the main local ferry broke down and passengers were stranded. The ferry operator on Tuesday informed that the Andros Jet will carry out the Samothrace-Alexandroupolis route on Wednesday, August 21, as follows: • From Alexandroupolis to Samothraki at 9.30 and 15.00 • From Samothraki to Alexandroupolis at 12.00 and 18.00 The route will be carried out after the company was in contact with the Greek Shipping Ministry and while awaiting the re-routing of the local ship. The company underlined that it will continue to serve the Samothrace-Alexandroupolis route in the coming days until a local ship begins itineraries again. Seajets said it would announce its itineraries 24 hours in advance for the convenience of passengers.
