The whole system – including search pages, hotel profiles, booking form, booking confirmations, and transactional notifications – is now available in the Greek language. The latest improvement aims to facilitate Greek travel professionals to make bookings, carry out payments, check information, and make necessary changes to orders. RateHawk CEO Felix Shpilman. “With our product available in Greek, we will be better positioned to deliver our innovative engine to local travel industry professionals fully,” Felix Shpilman, CEO of RateHawk, said, adding that he believes that there is a huge need in the Greek market for a user-friendly, high-tech, and supply-rich B2B hotel booking system. RateHawk already has partners in over 100 countries globally and cooperates with over 9,500 travel agencies. The company launched in Greece in 2018, providing travel professionals with a supply of over 1.2 million unique properties globally sourced from more than 85 world’s best hotel suppliers. “We are satisfied with our traction in Greece – in the second quarter of 2019 we have managed to double the number of our partners in the country compared to the first quarter,” Shpilman said. RateHawk’s CEO said that by the end of 2019, the company is planning to increase the portfolio of its partners by 100 percent. “We plan to continue our expansion in Greece and, over the long run, to make our product the preferred travel tool for all local travel professionals,” he added. RateHawk’s mapping algorithms enable aggregating, processing, and deduplicating hotel content from both retail and wholesale players. The service utilizes content prioritization systems, rate mixing mechanisms, various data structuring methods, advanced pricing, and inventory management systems for different channels, POS, and customer segments. RateHawk is owned by Emerging Travel Group, an international online travel group that operates in over 100 source markets with brands RateHawk, ZenHotels, and Ostrovok.
