The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) presented Halkidiki’s tourism offerings to 30 leading tour operators of the Polish market, during an event recently held in the city of Lodz.

The head of the GNTO office in Poland, Nikoletta Nikolopoulou and Mouzenidis Travel Polska Marketing Manager Veniamin Vafidis.

According to an announcement, some of Poland’s major tour operators including Travelplanet, Echo Travel, TUI, Wakacje and My Travel attended the event and received information on Halkidiki’s natural beauties, history and heritage, gastronomy tradition, products and tourism infrastructure.

“Halkidiki and Greece [in general] can offer its visitors unforgettable experiences not only in the summer but during the whole year,” said the head of the GNTO office in Poland, Nikoletta Nikolopoulou.

Greece is the first choice of travel for Polish nationals this year, continuing last year’s momentum which saw more than 1 million visitors from Poland.

During the event, the participants also had the opportunity to watch the award-winning video of GNTO titled, “Greece – A 365-day destination”, and receive printed information on Halkidiki.

Furthermore, the Polish tour operators had brunch in the especially designed “Greek Corner”, which featured Greek traditional products and flavors.

The event was organized by Mouzenidis Travel Polska with the support of GNTO.
