Athens’ Titania Hotel Announces Afroditi Arvaniti as New Managing Director

The Titania Hotel, a 385-room property located in the heart of Athens, has appointed Afroditi Arvaniti as its new managing director.

Afroditi took over her new position on August 26th, after the property’s acquisition by London & Regional Properties.

“With strong communication skills as well as her in-depth knowledge and long experience regarding all aspects of hotel management, she is recognized as a transformational leader with systemic view in developing business, also leading strong teams and creating high levels of performance,” an announcement said.

“Her mission is to revive and lead the hotel through new strategies and significant investment to a new era, and create a strong footprint for the hotel in the heart of Athens, the changing metropolis.”

Afroditi has 20+ years of experience in leading management roles both in the Greek and international hotel and travel industry.

She has worked for many years in international hotel chains such as Accor, Hilton and Starwood in senior sales and marketing positions.

For eight and a half years she held the position of general manager and managing director at the NJV Athens Plaza Hotel, a landmark five-star property in Athens.

Afroditi holds a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University.

The Titania Hotel is located on Panepistimiou Avenue, right in the heart of the historical and commercial center of Athens. The hotel offers rooms of all types: standard, family, superior, executive, junior suites and deluxe suites.

Titania was acquired by London & Regional Properties, a UK-based private investment company, in July 2019.
