The Exploration Children’s Museum combines travel with play, also providing children with the opportunity to explore and comprehend themselves and the world, through interactive and hands-on activities. Moreover, it aims to inspire children to discover, experiment and play. “The learning process as an ‘experience’, and the museum encourages visitors to process and understand its objects and concepts by connecting them with their own lives and experiences,” an announcement by the museum said. Scientists and educators of the museum have designed educational programs for different age groups – students, families, teenagers and teachers. The children museum’s educational activities are held in various cultural and educational venues around Crete.
