Bluegr Hotels & Resorts for the second consecutive year participated in the Greece Race for the Cure charity event that aims to promote the global fight against breast cancer and help save lives of women.

In its 11th year, the event was jointly held with the 33rd Athens Run on September 29 in the center of Athens, under the organization of the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer Alma Zois and the City of Athens’ Culture, Youth and Sports Organization (OPANDA).

The team of bluegr Hotels & Resorts took part in the 5km race and the 2km walk, celebrating life and highlighting the importance of prevention,” the company said in an announcement.

This year, in collaboration with the G & A Mamidakis Foundation, bluegr created a library in the 3rd Elementary School of Agios Nikolaos.

The group this year participated in the celebrations for World Tourism Day that were held by the Municipality of Lasithi on September 27 and donated the event’s proceeds for charity causes in the region.

Moreover, the corporate social responsibility program of bluegr Hotels & Resorts includes a Blood Donation Bank.
