Company updates Civitel Olympic’s Restaurant Presents New Mediterranean Menu by GTP editing team 17 October 2019 written by GTP editing team 17 October 2019 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 13 Civitel Olympic restaurant The restaurant of the Civitel Olympic hotel, located in Athens, has presented its new menu, which includes signature Mediterranean flavors by award-winning executive chef Konstantinos Georgatzas. “The refreshed menu is based on modern Mediterranean cuisine, with Asian elements and vegan options that offer a sophisticated gastronomy experience which will excite even the most demanding palates,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement. “A minimal environment with modern aesthetics and a relaxed atmosphere provides guests with the opportunity to enjoy unique dishes based on fine ingredients and premium quality raw materials.” Asian salad For starters the chef proposes velouté celery soup with chicken arancini and crunchy carrot bites. Guests can continue with a noodles salad with seaweed variety, botargo powder, roasted sesame, flying fish eggs, sauté vegetables, chili peppers and soy sauce, honey and sweet “Samos” wine. For the main course, the menu offers a variety of dishes such as the pork cutlet with apple purée, celeriac, walnut and molasses. Meanwhile, pasta lovers are recommended to try the bucatini pepperoncinο with aglio e olio, pepperoncinο and olive seeds or the panciotti scamorza with cheese, aubergine and parmesan-basil sauce. The menu also offers many options for vegans such as mushrooms sauté with fresh herbs and balsamic flavored with berries, and a vegetable burger with homemade potatoes and sun-dried tomato sauce. Sea bass filetPork cutlet For a sweet ending, guests can enjoy the mille-feuille with lemon curd and caramel sauce or the strawberry sorbet flavored with mint. The restaurant also offers an updated list of wines from the Greek vineyard, fine champagne and sparkling wines. The new menu is available daily from 7pm until 11pm.
