Marinis was until recently GEPOET’s Secretary General. “The new composition of the Board of Directors once again confirms its multifaceted character as it represents all individual activities of travel agencies – inbound and outbound tourism, tour operating, ticketing, hiking tourism, conferences, cruise – as well as tourist coach companies among others,” GEPOET said in an announcement. GEPOET’s new Board of Directors is as follows: President Aris Marinis Secretary General Giorgos Tsopanas 1st Vice President Michalis Vlatakis 2nd Vice President Vasilis Kaloudis 3rd Vice President Vasilis Siamos 4th Vice President Stathis Vasiliadis 5th Vice President Giorgos Vasilakis Deputy Secretary General Dimitris Divolis Treasurer Theodoros Karamitros Trustee Thanasis Mainas Board Members Yiannis Andriotis, Alexandros Gasparatos, Konstantinos Katsivas, Konstantinos Kourkounakis, Savvas Pagonakis, Kostas Palaskonis, Panagiotis Paparoidamis, Konstantinos Siamos, Konstantinos Simopoulos, Giorgos Trivizas, Panagiotis Tsanas. The federation underlined that the entry of many new members to the Board of Directors “shows its willingness for change without undermining GEPOET’s current policy and long history”. The new BoD was elected on October 23, during the Federation’s annual general assembly.
