Greece has become part of Lufthansa’s #LifeChangingPlaces campaign, which has been running since 2017 to encourage travelers to seek for places that will change their lives.

Now in its third round, the campaign accompanies its target groups via numerous channels with inspiring and activating content in line with Lufthansa’s claim “Say yes to the world”.

#LifeChangingPlaces videos have thus far been presented by people who changed their lives after trips to New York, Mexico, Lofoten, France and Cape Town.

Chris Burkard - Lofoten
Thomasina Miers - Mexico

In Greece, Lufthansa is collaborating with renowned influencers including TV hostess and model Christina Boba; travel blogger Maria Kofou from “Travel Stories From My World”; George Tsagarakis and Vasiliki Papakonstantis from “Yaba Taravellers” to create content. In their videos, they narrate their own stories of how they managed to change their lives through their journeys.

Meanwhile, Lufthansa is promoting three unique stories to the Greek market through social media: The story of photographer Chris Bruckard who visited the Lofoten islands in Norway; Thomasina Miers, founder of the Wahaca restaurants chain in Britain and columnist for The Guardian, who was fascinated by Mexico’s gastronomy; and IT Manager Somnath Halder, whose life changed after a trip to New York.

“A fascinating place, a moving story. With our #LifeChangingPlaces digital campaign, we are once again proving how worthwhile it is to go around the world openly. This is exciting content on more channels than ever before,” says Benita Struve, Head of Marketing Communication & Campaigns.

Maira – Ethiopia

The latest #LifeChangingPlaces story comes from Lufthansa Flight Attendant Maira who talks about her visit to Ethiopia and how her work in a shelter for abused mothers and children changed her life.

Lufthansa’s #LifeChangingPlaces spots are shown on TV, in cinemas and on the Internet. The campaign also has a wide reach in print ads and posters, and on all relevant social media channels.
