Photo: GTP People with disability and their companions, as well as members of the Greece Chamber of Fine Arts or of corresponding EU chambers holding memberships card are among those entitled to free admission to sites and museums across Greece, as of November 1, the Greek culture ministry announced recently. The ministry extended a previous ministerial decision aimed at encouraging interest and ensuring access to all, while at the same time directing funds towards new cultural projects. Photo: GTP Senior citizens as well as history, archaeology, architecture, fine arts, restoration school graduates will be entitled to free access as long as they apply for a three-year Free Entry Card which is issued and renewed by the ministry. Under the policy, all children and youths up to 25 years of age from Greece and other EU countries are also entitled to free admission.
