The Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso, located on the Athenian Riviera, was announced “Greece’s Best Hotel Spa for 2019” at the 5th annual World Spa Awards, recently held in the Armani Hotel in Dubai.

Launched in 2015, the annual awards aims to celebrate and reward excellence in the spa and wellness industry.

“This is a significant award as it comes from tourism industry experts and guests to reward the group’s everyday efforts to offer high-quality services. Furthermore, it confirms the group’s successful course since after over 60 years of action in hospitality, it continues to work with the same passion always seeking for innovation,” the Divani Collection Hotels said in an announcement.

While wellness tourism is growing globally, Divani is continuously investing in the sector. The hotel is home to the 3,500sqm Divani Athens Spa & Thalasso Center – “the ultimate wellness destination”.

Visitors can enjoy the center’s unique 270sqm thalassotherapy pool which offers 16 different areas with water jets, as well as its hammam, sauna and a wide range of treatments, beauty and relaxation massages.

Meanwhile, Divani Apollon’s #DivineYou concept has been designed to offer a number of intense yet enjoyable programs for detoxification, relaxation, weight loss and healthy lifestyle, which are combined with a low calorie menu, developed by the Thalassothery Center’s nutrition and medical team in collaboration with the hotel’s chef.
