Thessaloniki Convention Bureau, celebrates in 2019 five years of operation.

We introduced Greece’s second tier city to the MICE Industry, we initiated public and private sector collaboration in order to increase visibility of the destination and create a strong network of local stakeholders working together, we attracted and hosted major events.

A compact Destination Marketing Action Plan, an Ambassadors’ Program and a Members Empowerment strategy enable us to reach our goal: establish Thessaloniki as an excellent meeting and convention destination, target at increasing international networking, host highly professional MICE events, participate at the most important Meetings Industry events worldwide.

We are proud to see Thessaloniki positioned 93 worldwide and 53 in Europe according to the ICCA 2018 ranking.

We are happy to see the development of infrastructure and of congress capacity being a top priority for the city. It is a great pleasure to see new members joining forces with TCB to create a solid environment as a hosting destination.
