Greece, on top of being a mountainous country with vast wilderness areas, also offers thousands miles of sheltered beautiful coastline, numerous beaches, caves and rock formations. Greece has crystal clear waters where one can swim or dive without having to be alert about sharks, poisonous fish or other hazards.

And of course, we have the weather, the always shining, in the middle of a blue sky, Sun of Greece, that creates the extraordinary light you can admire on postcards.

Perhaps this is the reason that outdoor activities, as an integral part of the Greek tourism offer, are growing year after year, not only in Crete and the islands but also on the mainland… New destinations are emerging, the Zagoria region in Epirus or the Mainalon Trail in the Peloponnese.

We, the Outdoor Professionals in Greece are very optimistic about the future and are ready to extend the legendary Greek hospitality to all nature lovers.
