The Municipality of Rethymno, on Sunday, November 10, will hold a special Wine Tourism Tour in the Cretan city to celebrate World Wine Tourism Day 2019.

According to an announcement, the event is co-organized by the Rethymno-based team of RECEVIN, the European Network of Wine Cities, and aims to offer participants a unique wine experience. It will include a wine tasting event of Cretan varieties combined with selected dishes, especially prepared by some of the best restaurants and boutique hotels of Rethymno.

The World Wine Tourism Day celebrations are organized by the Cretan Winemakers Network, with the participation of two local wineries: The Klados Winery in Panormo and the Zouberakis Winery in Kali Sykia.

In addition, a total of 16 wineries-members of the Wines of Crete, will be open to the public on Sunday, November 10, from 11am to 5pm.
