According to an announcement, the itinerary will commence in March 2020, and will be conducted five times a week. “We are delighted to be relaunching this route as part of our ongoing commitment to growing Greek traffic, jobs and domestic tourism. Customers in Greece can now book flights between Athens and Chania as far out as October 2020,” said Ryanair’s Chiara Ravara. Ryanair’s Greece 2020 schedule offers a total of 148 routes. It is expected to deliver 6.6 million customers per year, and support 4,950* jobs across Ryanair’s 13 Greek airports next year. To celebrate the route, Ryanair has released seats for sale at low fares for travel until the end of January 2020, which must be booked by Sunday (10 November), only on the Ryanair.com website. *ACI research confirms up to 750 ‘on-site’ jobs are sustained at international airports for every 1m passengers.
