According to an announcement by POX on Friday, the latest additions to the federation include the Laganas Hotels Association (Zakynthos), with President Christina Tetradi, the newly formed Western Macedonia Hotels Association, with President Iordanis Michailidis and the Chios Hoteliers Association with President Antigoni Maistrali. The presidents of the federation’s three new members attended the annual meeting of the presidents of Greece’s hotelier associations held last Friday in Thessaloniki. “They joined forces with dozens of other associations across Greece in a major effort to keep the hotel business viable and operational,” POX said. Welcoming the new associations, POX President Grigoris Tasios applauded the development which he said came after a “difficult tourism season” and while the momentum for Greek tourism and the economy remains positive, despite challenges and uncertainties.
