The 85th TIF will take place in the northern Greek city between September 5-13, 2020. The logo was presented on the sidelines of a forum titled, “Innovation as a growth lever – A Greek-German cooperation”, which was recently held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in Athens by the German Embassy in Athens and the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The logo’s design was assigned to graphic designer Ioulia Vittou by Dojo Entertainvents, and depicts Thessaloniki’s White Tower with colors from the two countries’ flags, under twelve stars that symbolize the European Union. The concept and design of Germany’s exhibition space has been developed by Düsseldorf-based firm “gtp2 architekten” and is based on the idea of the “experiential landscape”. German companies will present their offerings in an exhibition area of 6,000 sq.m., while visitors will have the opportunity to explore different sectors of the German economy including employment, health, nutrition, mobility, smart cities, startups, environment and energy.
