Eurowings: New Direct Flights to Santorini and Kos in Summer 2020

Eurowings, a member of the Lufthansa Group, on Tuesday announced that it will launch direct flights to Santorini and Kos from Dusseldorf and Stuttgart, respectively, for summer 2020.

Flights to Santorini from Dusseldorf will run every Friday from May 1 and flights to Kos from Stuttgart are scheduled for every Tuesday and Saturday from May 23.

Extra direct flight to Thessaloniki from Hamburg

Moreover, the airline also announced an increased number of flights between Hamburg and Thessaloniki. With an additional direct connection, passengers will now travel six times a week without detour to Thessaloniki from July 3, 2020.

Eurowings has a fleet of 205 aircraft and specializes in low cost non-stop flights within Europe. The German carrier offers flights to over 210 destinations in over 60 countries around the world.

According to the airline, last year it carried over 40 million passengers for the first time and expanded its staff to around 9,000 employees.
