Photo © Maria Theofanopoulou The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) introduced Greece’s year-round tourism options and alternative travel activities leading Polish tour operators, during the 8th National Forum of Tour Operators held recently in Warsaw. Organized by Polish travel magazine Wiadomości Turystyczne, the event was attended by senior executives of leading tourism enterprises including Grecos Holidays, Rainbow Tour and Itaka, as well as owners and directors of sales websites, local authorities and journalists. “Tourists from Poland love Greek summer…. and Greece this year, remains the first choice of Polish travelers,” said the head of the GNTO office in Poland Nikoletta Nikolopoulou. Meanwhile, the duration of arrivals from Poland to Greece has been extended, offering new prospects and significant profit opportunities to Polish tour operators. “Greece has so much more to offer… It is time for our Polish friends to discover its unique beauties during all seasons,” Nikolopoulou added. During the event, GNTO also presented its award-winning promotional video, “Greece – A 365-day destination” and distributed printed material to participants.
