Registration for Messinia Pro-Am 2020 Golf Event Open Until Jan 10

Registrations for the Messinia Pro-Am 2020, the international golf tournament that take place annually at Costa Navarino in the Peloponnese, will continue until January 10.

In its fourth year, the Messinia Pro-Am will take place during February 19-22. The event organized by Costa Navarino in collaboration with the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG), under the auspices of PGA of Greece and the Hellenic Golf Federation.

According to the organizers, the prime sports event has attracted the interest of players from all over the world and only a few spots are still available. Online registration is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Messinia Pro-Am 2020 will host 50 teams at its signature 18-hole courses The Dunes Course and The Bay Course.

Each team will consist of one PGA professional and three amateurs that will participate in three rounds.

Professionals will compete for a total prize fund of 50,000 euros.

New Clubhouse ready to open

This year, before and after the game, participants will be able to enjoy the unique view offered from the newly built cave-shaped Clubhouse of The Bay Course.

“This new addition to our golf facilities further enhances the experience of visitors, while its design outlines the company’s commitment for sustainable tourism development,” Costa Navarino said in an announcement.

“The 4th Messinia Pro-Am will also mark the start of the tourism season from February, highlighting Greece as an ideal destination for every season and enhancing  the country’s potential in sports tourism.”

Meanwhile, the 4th Messinia Pro-Am will, again this year, support the SOS Children’s Villages Greece, a member of SOS Children’s Villages International.

Participants can make their donations online here, or during the charity event titled, “A Good Cause to Strike”, which will take place at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino on February 21.
