Announcement were made during the recent roadshows that the Dusseldorf-based tour operator held in the German cities of Stuttgart, Saarbrücken, Koblenz and Mannheim. According to the German office of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Alltours plans to increase its presence in destinations including Kefallonia, the Peloponnese; and also Paros and Naxos where Greek carrier AEGEAN flies to with a stopover in Athens The new destinations are in addition to Alltours’ offering on Corfu and Crete, where it owns three hotels. The tour operator also sells travel packages to Rhodes and Kos, favorite islands to the German market. Chania, Crete During the roadshows, participant German travel agents discussed with representatives from the GNTO and expressed their optimism for next year’s tourism season. According to the travel agents from Germany, Greece remains a hospitable and safe destination for German travelers.
