Cruise Critic’s panel of experts chose Celestyal as the winner in the “Best for Service” category since “the two-ship line retains a home-from-home feel onboard, where crew go out of their way to make [guests] feel welcome, whether that’s little touches like creating ever more elaborate towel animals in the room, making balloons for kids at dinner time or, for returning passengers, remembering their favorite cocktail”. The company operates two mid-sized vessels, each one cozy enough to provide genuine and highly-personalized services. “This is undoubtedly a successful team effort from all our crew, officers and team ashore. The legendary Greek hospitality is at the heart of our philosophy… Having won an Editor’s Picks Award for a third time amplifies the exemplar service we provide to our guests… as we increase our efforts to grow our brand,” said Celestyal Cruises CEO Chris Theophilides. The cruise line had also won a number of UK Editors’ Picks Awards in 2017 and 2016. Every year, UK Editors’ Picks Awards are selected by a global panel of impartial cruise experts from Cruise Critic, to highlight the best ocean, river and luxury cruise lines for UK travelers, across dozens of categories.
