Celestyal Cruises this past summer fulfilled the wishes of seven children of the Make-A-Wish organization by taking them and their families on a tour around the Greek Islands and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Make-A-Wish is one of the world’s leading children’s charities granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

“Having proved its support to vulnerable social groups, Celestyal Cruises continues to actively provide its support to children and people in need,” the company said in an announcement.

Celestyal’s little travelers were Argiro, Vassiliki, Angelos, Maria, Manos, Magda and Marios, who had the chance to discover new places and take a pleasant break from their daily routines by making the most out of the company’s onboard activities and excursions to destinations.

“It was one of the best experiences of my life and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I definitely rate it with 10 out of 10,” little Argyro said.

Apart from the cruise experiences offered to the families of Make-A-Wish Greece, the company has also been supporting the organization by selling its products through the Celestyal onboard shops.

The cruises offered in summer 2019 were part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, which also focuses on education and training activities.

Based in Greece, Celestyal’s main ports of call are the Greek Islands and the Eastern Mediterranean. It currently operates two mid-sized ships offering warm hospitality and personalized services.
