Big New Year’s Eve Party at Syntagma Square

The Municipality of Athens will ring in the New Year on Tuesday, December 31, at Syntagma Square in central Athens, with plenty of entertainment that will include lots of music, fun, dancing, lights and fireworks!

Hosted by Themis Georgantas and Nadia Boule, the party will kick off at 10pm.

Towards midnight, Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis will prepare for the countdown into 2020 sending wishes of health, happiness and prosperity for the new year.

Greek music band Melisses is headlining the open party and promises to close the year 2019 with an unforgettable performance. Also on stage will be Greek singers Ivy Adamou, Demy and Josephine while the award-winning Wolves gymnastics team will also make a surprise appearance.

The revelry will continue when Dj Pitsi takes over with a very powerful music program!

The municipality’s New Year’s Eve Party is open to all free of charge.
