Low cost carrier Ryanair has announced the launch of two new services connecting Greece and Armenia for the summer of 2020.

“Ryanair is pleased to announce Armenia as a brand-new destination for Greek consumers in summer 2020, with two new routes from Athens to Gyumri and from Thessaloniki to Yerevan,” said Ryanair’s Chiara Ravara.

The two services will be conducted twice a week, starting in May 2020.

Ryanair’s 2020 Greek Summer schedule includes a total of 14 new flights to destinations in France, Italy and Germany.

Meanwhile, the carrier’s 149 summer routes are estimated to deliver 6.6 million customers per year, and support over 4,950 jobs across 13 Greek airports.

“Greek consumers and visitors can now book their summer holidays to Armenia as far out as October 2020, flying on the lowest fares… and with the lowest CO2 emissions,” the announcement said.
