Greece’s capital, Athens, is among the nominees along with Vilnius, Lithuania; “Delphi” Theater; Germany; Dorfulija, North Macedonia; El Hierro, Spain; Luggala, Ireland; Lviv, Ukraine; Rocca Guidoensca di Rocchettine, Italy; Royal Brussels, Belgium and Završje-Piemonte d’Istria, Croatia. Athens was selected by the Hellenic Film Commission for being among the shooting locations of “The Little Drummer Girl”, the BBC TV series directed by filmmaker Park Chan-wook. Cape Sounion, Attica. EUFCN consists of 90 members from 30 countries, which aim to promote European locations as filming destinations. Each EUFCN member has proposed a location featured in a film, TV series or documentary, released between January 2018 and July 2019.
