Rozaki Meteora, Volos and Pelion are among the Greek destinations to be featured in Spanish public broadcaster RTVE’s shows “Senderos del Mundo” and “Turismo Rural en el Mundo”, in February. Following an invitation by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), RTVE’s crew recently arrived to Greece to produce two episodes in three different languages – Spanish, English and German – that will broadcast in Spain and other countries around the world. Skoulas According to an announcement by the GNTO, Senderos del Mundo host Juan Frutos, along with the show’s dog mascot Migas, will be touring central Greece until January 21 in order to film in Meteora, Volos, the National Park of Pelion and the coastal area of the Pagasetic Gulf. The show will highlight the area’s traditional art, gastronomy and wineries as well as the local tsipouro production, the cultivation of olive trees and other activities. The aim of the fam trip will be to promote the Greek capital as a travel option for the fans of the popular game. Earlier this month, the GNTO also brought to Athens a travel journalist from UK free newspaper City A.M., in efforts to promote the Greek capital as a city break destination. City A.M. publishes 335,000 issues, while its online edition counts over 1 million visitors every month.
