‘Sunny Greece’ Welcomes Angelos Samolis as its New Sales Manager

Greek tour operator Sunny Greece Travel & Tourism has appointed Angelos Samolis as its new sales manager.

Angelos has an experience of 25 years in the tourism industry. He began his career as a receptionist in city hotels and resorts. Over the years, he has collaborated with leading international tourism organizations.

He has hands on experience in the MICE industry, having handled events for companies like Pfizer, Astra, Bristol, Bayern, Wincor-Nixdorf, Mercedes-Benz and Nokia.

His latest successful endeavor was in the marine industry, were he developed collaborations with more than 20 shipping companies.

As innovative mind, Angelos is granted with two international patents.

Over the years, he has improved his skills in public relations and sales by attending international exhibitions, and performing door-to-door and cold-calling sales.

“The future of international tourism is gloomy while large companies can only become bigger by taking risks…  My decision to cooperate with Sunny Greece and its owner Dimitris Vais came up at the right  time,” Angelos said.

“After almost 25 years of collaborating with major organizations and international companies, I have chosen to work with a family-owned company – a specialist. Sunny Greece is a reliable company with a 40-year history,” he added.

Angelos holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism management from the Technological Educational Institute of Patra.

Sunny Greece is specializing in incoming tourism, offering culture and leisure tourism programs and activities for groups and individuals.
