A joint statement laying out the foundations of a renewed Greek-French economic partnership was signed in Paris, today, by Greece’s Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, Investments & Development Minister Adonis Georgiadis, and French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire. The two sides agreed to strengthen and intensify cooperation with a focus on investments and projects that will contribute to the transition to the green economy. The deal renews the strong ties between the two countries as demonstrated by the more than 100 French subsidiaries active in energy, agri-food, infrastructure, transport, and tourism, currently operating in Greece, and employing some 10,000 people.
