The Greek island of Kefalonia is getting ready to welcome the Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa, a new five-star hotel, expected to open its doors in summer 2020.

The new luxurious hotel will be the sixth entry in the portfolio of Electra Hotels & Resorts, a hotel group counting 54 years in hospitality and tourism.

Located in the area of Ammes, the beach front of the Svoronata district of Kefalonia, the hotel is only a five-minute drive from Kefalonia Airport “Anna Pollatou” and offers impressive views of the Ionian Sea.

The Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa will consist of 34 modern style rooms and suites, featuring a wide array of amenities including free WiFi, independent heating, air conditioning, double-glazed windows and flat screen smart TVs.

With a full-service spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, heated outdoor pool and a restaurant with a menu of creations that include local products combined with refreshing cocktails, the Electra Kefalonia Hotel will aim to offer authentic Greek hospitality with sophistication and originality.

Established in 1965, Electra Hotels & Resorts opened its first hotel, the Electra Hotel Athens, on Ermou Street. In 1972, the group opened the doors of the Electra Palace Thessaloniki on Aristotelous Square and one year later the opening of the Electra Palace Athens in Plaka followed. In 1975 the group opened the Electra Palace Rhodes and then the Electra Metropolis Athens in September 2016, located very close to Syntagma Square.
